I do have to bring in some mattes when I use this quad because it's all shimmers. The purple is a bit dark and has to be used with a light hand. This is gorgeous! The aqua in this quad is amazing layered with the blue, gives you this incredible seawater duochrome effect. It is a very cool looking palette though and I have to experiment more with it.īlitz Astral Quad in Nocturnal Nirvana - A+ There's a lot of pink and gold and some deeper mattes, I kind of get the same looks every time? The bright pink shade fades on me, which is a bummer. I like the multichrome, I like several of the shades, but I don't think it has the tonal range of other Mothership palettes. Still trying to figure out how I feel about this palette. I adore the deep, swampy green and the purple especially. The ingredients list includes squalane on this palette, which, I believe, makes many of the shades feel creamier and a bit more moisturizing on the lid. ![]() I LOVE this palette because to me it is the most usable Pat McGrath palette with the most creamy formula. Bought this in the Met special edition packaging. There is a duochrome in this palette that shifts green and if you put that on top of any matte in your collection, you can basically build your own multichrome. I put a random Colourpop matte all over the lid, in a pink or blue or whatever, and then I layer one of the "special shades" from this palette on top and it looks super expensive and amazing. One of my favorite things to do with this eyeshadow palette is to jazz up Colourpop mattes! Lol. I like this palette but some of the sparkly shades are a little flaky, and give me mega fallout. This was the first Mothership palette I bought. But the special shades are really pretty crazy and with layering you can get some really cool effects. Is this the most "understated" Mothership palette? It seems so, because on the surface there are several neutral shades. Got for 50% off so again, I can't complain. ![]() Great pink/purple colors but some of these apply a bit patchy, I find you have to work hard to get a good result. The blue shade is glorious and quite complex looking on the lid, and the grey is good too. If you want to do the ultimate deep blue smokey eye, this palette is for you. ![]() I use Platinum Bronze the least, it is too understated/boring for me (haha) and you can only really do one look, I think. I got them all for 50% off so I can't complain. These are all excellent little eyeshadow palettes but lack the "special shades" of the larger palettes. (A sponge absorbs too much product and sheers it out even more, and it is already quite sheer.)īronze Ambition, Bronze Temptation, Platinum Bronze - A. Best applied with fingers or a brush and then buffed in with a brush. I think this foundation is absolutely beautiful. Apparently Pat helped develop Luminous Silk so it makes sense. I feel like a glam gothic alien when I wear PMG, lol.Įditorial glossy skin goals! This is a light to medium foundation that I find very similar to Luminous Silk but more dewy/glowy. I really feel like she's the future of luxury makeup. I admire her artistry and her line makes me excited about makeup again. I will preface this by saying that I am a total Pat McGrath stan.
